That LinkedIn influencer said encryption backdoors are totally fine if the cops have warrants
I read some cybersecurity 'expert' claiming we should just trust the government to only use backdoors for serious crimes like terrorism, and I think that's the dumbest take I've seen in a while. Has anyone here actually dealt with law enforcement overreach on a smaller case that proved that trust is a joke?
Walked into the DMV last week and the guy at the counter asked for my Social and I just... nope, not today. @the_anthony probably gets it, some places just feel off with that stuff.
