Tried both magnetic window alarms and stick-on contact sensors, the $6 contact sensors are way more reliable for not false alarming

Can't believe those cheap ones work better. I figured the expensive magnetic ones would be the way to go.

You are absolutely wrong actually, the magnetic ones are built better and last way longer in my experience.

Dude, same here! I bought this super cheap set off Amazon for like $12 (they were some random brand I'd never heard of) and honestly, they've held up way better than the $50 magnetic ones I tried first. The magnets on the expensive ones actually started to chip and crack after like two months, but the cheap plastic ones are still going strong. It's wild how much you can overpay for something that literally does the same job.
