Just dropped $400 on a new hoistway door roller gauge and it was a total game changer
We had this one job downtown where the doors kept binding on a 15-story building. The old gauge was off by almost an eighth of an inch, so every adjustment was a guess. Bought the new digital gauge, set it up in five minutes, and had the whole bank running smooth. Anyone else find a tool that just makes one annoying job way easier?

Sounds like a fancy fix for a basic problem.

Honestly thought the same thing for years, that it was just overcomplicating stuff. Then saw a crew miss a whole floor's worth of pipe because their old method was "close enough". The fancy fix is just math making sure things actually line up when you're that high up.
