Got my bank account frozen for a week after posting about a certain coin
Last Tuesday I made a comment on a public forum about buying a small amount of a privacy coin. By Thursday, my checking account was locked. The bank said it was a 'security review' but wouldn't give details. I had to use cash for everything for 7 days, missed a rent payment, and got a late fee. This is exactly why we need free speech finance tools that banks can't touch. Has anyone else had their regular banking messed with just for talking about crypto online?
Tell me about it! My husband got his debit card blocked last month after a transfer to a small exchange. They said it was "suspicious activity" for a totally normal amount. We were stuck at the grocery store with a full cart! It's crazy how they watch everything you say and do now. This kind of stuff just proves we need money they can't freeze on a whim. I'm so sorry about your rent, that's the worst part.
