TIL the hard way that a 'free speech' crypto wallet can still freeze your funds
I moved a small amount, about $500, into a wallet that advertised itself as 'uncensorable' last month. Yesterday I tried to send it out and got a transaction error, and support basically said they had to comply with a request. So much for free speech finance if the exit ramp is blocked. Has anyone else run into this with a supposedly decentralized service?

Reminds me of when my "unbreakable" phone case shattered.

Yeah, the "free speech" part is a total joke when they can just freeze the exit. It's like claire_grant34 said about the unbreakable phone case, you only find out it's a lie when it breaks. I mean, they all use these middlemen for moving money back to your bank, and that's where they get you. My friend had a similar thing happen with a different wallet, got flagged for a totally normal transfer. Maybe it's just me but the whole point is gone if you can't actually use your own money.
