Why does nobody talk about how pets act strange right before a glitch?
I swear my cat stares at empty corners right before something weird happens!

Maybe they see the system loading.

Exactly, it's all about ruling out the normal stuff first. Animals hear and smell things way better than we do. A low hum from failing electronics or the smell of ozone before a storm could explain a lot of those "weird" moments. My old dog would hide under the bed an hour before a thunderstorm even hit, which just proves they're tuned into changes we completely miss. It makes the truly random glitches, where nothing in the environment lines up, way more interesting to think about.

You're right that we need specifics, but saying it's always a sound we can't hear feels like giving up too easy. Sometimes my cat will stare, hackles up, at a blank corner where nothing ever happens, no storms coming, no electronics on. If we write off every odd animal reaction as just better senses, we might miss the times there's no environmental cause to find. That's when it gets spooky, because their fear has to come from somewhere.

Yeah but what do you mean by a glitch, though? Like, are we talking a tech thing or some kind of weird feeling in the room? My dog gets all stiff and growls at nothing before the power flickers, but that could just be him hearing a sound I can't. You need to be way more specific about the weird things that happen. Otherwise it's just confirmation bias.
