I thought posting client haircuts online was fine, but not anymore.
I used to share photos of my work on social media all the time. Never asked for permission because I thought it helped my business. Then a client saw her photo and felt really upset about it. She said she didn't want her hair change public for personal reasons. Now I always ask first and it feels way more right.

Yeah exactly @quinn_burns, clients just love finding that one new, weird hill to die on every single month. It's like they have a secret meeting where they decide what tiny, normal thing to treat like a huge crime. Next they'll be mad the email font was too professional or the PDF was too easy to open. Some people just need to be upset to feel like they're getting their money's worth, I guess.
