I used to hoard every receipt for coupon rebates, now I only keep the ones over $5
For like two years I was that person saving every single grocery receipt hoping to stack a few cents back on apps. Then last summer I spent 45 minutes organizing a folder of $0.50 rebates and got back maybe $3 total. Now I just snap a photo of any receipt with a purchase over $5 and toss the paper the same day. Has anyone else found a cutoff amount that actually makes the time worth it?

Wait hold on, 45 minutes of your time for $3 back?! That's wild, I would have lost my mind way before that.

Read somewhere that some people actually enjoy the hunt so it's not just about the money for them.

@gray875 totally. The thrill of the chase is a real thing for some people.
