Why does no one warn you that group projects ruin friendships
After my best friend of 4 years stopped talking to me over our history presentation last month at school, I realized we should have split the work day one instead of trusting each other to do equal parts, has anyone else lost a friend over a stupid project?
Nah fr that's actually rough. I had a falling out with someone over a group project once and it still feels weird looking back. Like we were tight for years and then bam, ghosted over some slides and bullet points. People really do be taking small stuff way too seriously sometimes.
Wait, WAIT. @shane_hayes you're telling me someone actually ended a real friendship over a PowerPoint? Like they just ghosted or blocked them after the slides were done? That is absolutely BONKERS. I've had friends give terrible presentations before where they dropped the clicker or forgot their talking points, but never once did I think about cutting them off for it. Some people really out here treating their social life like a performance review. That's just sad honestly.
