PSA: Stop putting yard waste in blue recycling bins...

Saw three different houses on my street toss bags of leaves and branches into the recycling this morning, and the pickup guys just left it all sitting there. The city's own website says green bins are for yard stuff, so why do people keep doing this and messing it up for everyone?

Oh man, @viola_lopez30 you're giving people way too much credit there... half the time they know the rules and just don't care. I swear some folks walk around like the rules don't apply to them at all. It's like watching someone try to assemble furniture without reading the instructions first, just hoping it works out. But yeah, there's definitely a group that's just clueless too, bless their hearts. Still doesn't make it any less annoying when they mess things up for the rest of us though.

Oh come on, let's be real here. If someone's driving 20 over the speed limit or cutting in line at the grocery store, they know exactly what they're doing. I've seen people park in handicap spots without a tag and then run into the store like they're in a hurry, that's not a misunderstanding, that's just selfishness. The whole "they don't know the rules" excuse gets used way too much when really it's more like they know the rules and just think the rules don't apply to them. It's like when people bring their dogs into restaurants that clearly have a "no pets" sign on the door, they saw it, they just don't care.
