A plumber in Tucson told me I was flushing wipes wrong for 6 years

He came out to snake a clog and pulled out this mess of wipes that said 'flushable' on the package. He said no wipes are actually flushable, not even the ones that say they are. I had been tossing them in the toilet every day since I moved into that house. Now I just throw them in the trash. Has anyone else had a plumber tell you something like that?

yeah it really sucks when you think you're getting a good deal and it turns out to be some cheap knockoff or worse, nothing at all. i fell for one of those "mystery box" things once and got a pair of headphones that literally broke the first time i tried to use them. makes you feel kinda dumb even though you know it's not your fault.

whoa that mystery box thing got me too @carter.joseph. my buddy hyped up this "gaming loot crate" and i dropped like 40 bucks on it. opened it up and got some dollar store mousepad with a faded logo and a pair of earbuds that sounded like they were underwater. felt so played but you live and learn i guess. these scammers always find new ways to get you when you let your guard down.
