That time a janitor at the airport told me about his side gig
I was stuck at O'Hare for 6 hours last spring and this older guy named Frank started cleaning near my gate. He saw my fossil hunting shirt and said he spends his weekends finding dinosaur bones in Montana and sells them to museums for extra cash. He showed me a photo of a triceratops horn he pulled out of the ground himself. Has anyone else met someone with a secret weird job like that?

Oh wow, that's amazing! I once met a banker who bred racing pigeons on the side.

my buddy found out about that racing pigeon world when his neighbor's pigeon got lost and ended up in his yard. he said the neighbor came knocking with a serious look asking for the bird back. turned out that pigeon was worth like 2 grand or something crazy. just a regular looking bird too you would never know. there's whole clubs and competitions for them apparently. people get really into it.
