Threw $60 down the drain on a fake patio cleaner spray

Bought this spray at a hardware store in Phoenix last month, said it would blast away all the grime in 10 minutes. Sprayed it on my back patio, waited, scrubbed for 20 minutes, and nothing came off. Turned out it was just scented water with a fancy label. Has anyone else fallen for a cleaning product that did absolutely nothing?

Wait, you actually scrubbed for 20 minutes? Bro, I would've given up after 30 seconds and called it a "patio detox" or something. I bought this "industrial strength" degreaser once that turned out to be basically soapy water with a warning label that looked like it was designed by a middle schooler in Paint. It didn't even bubble, just sat there looking sad while my driveway stayed filthy. That $60 could've bought you a six-pack and a proper power washer rental, just saying. Maybe next time just hose it down and pretend you did something, that's what I do now.

Ngl, that totally reminds me of the time I bought a "heavy duty" stain remover for my couch that promised to take out red wine in one spray. I spilled some grape juice on purpose to test it and the stuff barely even wet the fabric, just sat on top like a weird film. Honestly, I'm convinced half these cleaning products are just repackaged water with a "dangerous if swallowed" label to make them look legit.

Idk if this is the same stuff but I got a similar spray at a local hardware store here in Tucson and it was basically just water with a little vinegar and some blue dye. I tested a tiny patch with plain water first and it did the exact same thing, so I took the bottle back and they refunded me without even asking questions. Maybe it's just me but I think those big chain stores know what they're selling half the time.
