Back in Portland I had two different landlords, and the difference was nuts

I rented a place from a big company that said they followed every city code to the letter. Then I moved into a duplex owned by a guy who just did things his own way. The company charged me $50 for a lightbulb change, but the guy fixed my leaky sink in 20 minutes for free. Has anyone else dealt with a landlord who claims to follow the law but clearly bends it?

Hold up @viola_lopez30, he probably figured it was worth it if the leak was bad enough.
