I finally organized my sketchbook display with a rotating clip system

My desk was always covered in open sketchbooks when filming tours, making it hard to focus. I installed a curtain rod with binder clips to hang pages, allowing easy swapping and a clean backdrop. What methods do you use to keep your workspace tidy during recording?

Honestly that sounds like overkill for what should be a creative space. Constantly curating a perfect backdrop just kills the spontaneous energy of real work. The visible clutter of open sketchbooks and tools is part of the process, and hiding it feels like performing tidiness rather than actually creating. A sterile environment for recording might look professional, but it drains the raw, usable chaos that good ideas come from. Sometimes the mess is the point.
