Spent $80 on a 'smart' water bottle that never syncs right
Bought one of those HidrateSpark bottles that tracks your water intake, but the Bluetooth disconnects every time I set it down for more than 5 minutes. I end up logging water manually anyway, so what was the point? Anyone else fall for a gadget with a useless app?

Yeah the Bluetooth thing is just more tech that doesn't work like it should.

Bought the same exact bottle a year ago and had the same problems. Eventually just threw the bottle in my work bag and used it like a normal water bottle without ever syncing it again. What actually helped me was just keeping a small notepad on my desk and marking tally marks every time I refilled. I know it sounds old school but it actually worked way better than that glitchy app ever did. Sometimes the simpler route is just the better one.

Nah I gotta disagree a little. I actually love mine and it's been fine for me. Maybe you got a dud or something but mine syncs up every time I open the app.
