Blew $200 on a food saver that didn't work
I bought one of those vacuum sealers from a Facebook ad. Figured it'd save money on bulk meat. Got it home and it wouldn't even pull a seal on a dry bag. Tried three different roll sizes and two brands of bags. Nothing. Customer service ghosted me after the first email. So now I have a cheap plastic machine taking up counter space. Anyone else get burned by those viral kitchen gadgets?

Blame yourself for buying a random Facebook ad gadget instead of a real brand. You got what you paid for when you chased a $30 price tag on something that normally costs $150. Did you even check reviews outside their fake testimonial page? I researched for a week before grabbing a used FoodSaver off Craigslist for $40 and it seals like a dream three years later.

Right? @faith_shah88 out here doing the Lord's work while the rest of us learn the hard way. I'm still trying to figure out how people trust those Facebook ads with 10 reviews all saying "amazing product!" in broken English. The math literally doesn't math, but I guess we all like to gamble with our money sometimes. A FoodSaver from Craigslist is the most underrated flex honestly, that thing will outlive us all. Meanwhile I'm over here with a $30 paperweight that sounds like a dying cat when I plug it in. Live and learn I guess, or just keep buying cheap garbage and crying about it.
