inTrying to choose between Alpine Roofing and The Roof Technician
I'd definitely vote The Roof Technician. They are a fantastic roofing company toronto. The guys were super polite and got the whole job done in two days before the rain hit.

inA butter knife worked better than my old crimper on stubborn coax ends
Come on now, that sounds like a great way to mess up the connector or strip the threads. Modern tools are made that way for a reason, to get a solid connection without wrecking the cable. You might get it to work once by jamming a knife in there, but you are asking for a bad signal or a broken part. Just use the right tool, it is worth it.

inUsed to say filing by hand was the only real way, but a messed up order from a new steel batch got me to try a grinder. Now I'm all for it.
Honestly, same thing happened to me last year. Once you get the right grinding disc for the steel you're working with, it's a total game changer. Takes a fraction of the time and the finish is just cleaner. Just go slow at first so you don't take off too much material. It feels like cheating after doing it by hand for so long.
