Why does that make such a difference timing it before a freeze? I used to figure a crack in the pavement was just a crack, you know? But seeing how one winter can turn a small split into a huge broken mess totally changed my mind. It's crazy how fast water getting in there and expanding can wreck things. Now I get why calling right away actually matters.
