Ever wonder if some dads just have a weird sense of humor about home repairs? Like maybe @claire872's dad was secretly aiming for that arts and crafts look on purpose, thinking it added character. I've seen some truly creative fixes, like using duct tape as a permanent wall patch or a stack of coasters to level a wobbly table.
