I just read that a new AI model can now learn from just 50 examples, which is way less than I thought.

I found this out in a research paper from Stanford, and it makes me wonder if we're getting close to AI that learns like a person does, so what's the next big hurdle for this kind of tech?

Teach it to handle my customers' angry texts and we'll really be getting somewhere.

How do we get it to learn from messy real-world data, though?

Yeah that's the real problem right there... I tried feeding it some customer feedback from our old support tickets and it was a total mess. Half the entries were just people ranting, others had typos and slang, and some were just one word answers. The system kept looking for perfect patterns that just don't exist in the real world. It needs to learn from the noise, not just the clean examples, or it'll never be useful for actual people. We're stuck trying to clean the data first, which feels like we're losing what makes it real.
