My air fryer chicken was always dry until I saw a single comment about resting

I'd been pulling the chicken out and cutting it right away for months. Someone on a blog said to let it sit in the basket with the power off for 5 minutes, and the difference in juiciness was crazy. Do you all rest your meat, or just eat it straight from the basket?

Man that's such a common mistake lol. I used to do the same thing and wondered why my chicken was like rubber. Letting it rest makes all the difference for sure.

Read somewhere that resting meat lets the juices settle back in.

My first five attempts at cooking chicken could have doubled as hockey pucks. The resting tip saved my dinners.

Oh wow, that's a game changer! So you just leave it in the turned-off fryer? I've always taken mine out right away too. Does that work for everything, like pork chops or even veggies, or just chicken? I gotta try this tonight.
