Walked through Dallas Love Field ramp and nobody flags the FOD sweep bucket
Watched ground crew do a 10 minute FOD sweep with one torn bag and zero checklists last Thursday, then the shift lead just signed the digital log without looking at the runway, has anyone else caught this kind of lazy pattern at smaller hubs?
Watched the same thing happen at a regional airport last month. Sweep guy walked the whole length with his head down, never looked up once. Lead signed off on a tablet before the guy even got to the end of the runway. We found a chunk of tire rubber near the threshold that same afternoon. That's how stuff gets sucked into an engine.
Same thing with checkout scanners at grocery stores, people just swipe stuff past and assume it beeped without ever looking at the screen. Everybody's just going through the motions trying to get the sign-off instead of actually doing the job right.
