Had to pick between a grainy UFO video and a clear water rocket clip for my alien tech debate.

I went with the water rocket because it looked too fake to be real, but then someone pointed out the exhaust trail matched known physics exactly, so now I am not sure which side I am on, anyone else struggle with these obvious fake looking clips?

Dude, it's a video on the internet, not a federal case.

Man that water rocket clip is exactly the kind of thing that messes with your head. The whole "too clean to be real" trap gets me every time because real physics looks fake when you're used to grainy nonsense. But the exhaust trail matching known physics dead on is actually a huge deal, that's the sort of detail that separates legit stuff from hoaxes. Hoaxers always mess up little things like exhaust patterns or motion blur, so when those line up it means somebody either did insane homework or it's real. I'd lean toward the water rocket being legit now just because of that trail detail, but the grainy UFO video probably wins on vibes alone for most people.

Save both clips and check if any other details like lighting or shadows line up properly, that usually tells the real story.
