Met a guy at a truck stop who claimed he was from another planet

I was fueling up near Barstow around 3 AM when this dude walks up and says he's been watching humans for 30 years. He pointed at my watch and said 'you people measure time wrong, it's all loops not lines.' Has anyone else run into someone who sounded way too specific about alien stuff?

the "time is loops not lines" thing is honestly the weirdest part. like thats super specific, not just generic alien talk. was he like dead serious or did he have that "im messing with you" vibe? i feel like someone who actually believed that would have more details about how the loops work or something, not just drop one cryptic line. did he say anything else about it or just leave you hanging with that?
