That night in my backyard turned me from a skeptic into a believer

I used to roll my eyes at anyone talking about UFOs until last August around 2am. I was up with my youngest who couldn't sleep and saw three orange orbs moving silently over the trees behind my house in Portland. They weren't planes or drones, they stopped, hovered, and then shot off in different directions faster than anything I've ever seen. I grabbed my phone but only got blurry blobs before they vanished. Has anyone else seen those orange orbs and can explain what they might be?

Charles, you're not wrong about blurry photos being a UFO cliche, but the orange orbs thing is actually pretty widely reported. @charles_young92, if you look up "Portland orange orbs" there's tons of similar sightings from last August, not just one guy with a shaky phone.

Used to be exactly the same way until I saw three of those orange orbs over Beaverton last year. @river952 is right, there's a ton of reports from that month, and it's what pushed me from skeptic to believer too.
