Took me 3 rewatches to catch the hidden detail in episode 7 of Steins;Gate

I kept seeing people mention the microwave scene with the banana had a clue I missed. Finally paused at 14:22 and noticed the clock on the wall shows a time that doesn't match the timeline. That one second difference actually explains why the D-Mail gets delayed later. Anybody else find small visual hints like that in other shows?

Oh come on, are we really breaking out the magnifying glass for a one second clock difference? You know shows have prop departments that mess up stuff like that all the time just by accident. Seems like a stretch to call it a hidden clue when it could just be a continuity goof nobody caught.

Ha, @brianm66 I've been on enough sets to tell you prop guys are usually way too careful with timepieces to let a full second slip like that. If it's a continuity error, someone would've caught it in the edit, especially on a detail that specific.

Right? You can't just handwave a full second difference on a prop clock, that's way too specific. Prop guys check those things before every take, they don't just let something like that slide. It's gotta be intentional, or else someone in post would've fixed it for sure.
