Just realized I've been overcomplicating fridge door gasket replacements for years

I used to fight with the whole panel and clips for an hour, but a tech in Dayton showed me you can just warm the new gasket with a hair dryer for 2 minutes and it slips right on. Anyone have a better trick for those stubborn older models?

Forget the soap, that just makes a greasy mess later.

But @robertcarr, what about the soap residue?

Oh man, that hair dryer trick is a game changer. I used to wrestle with those things until I was sweating, then I saw a guy just use a little dish soap on the lip. Slides right on, no heat needed.
