Picked a $60 folding handsaw over a $300 pole pruner for a tight backyard job
Had to choose between a Silky Zubat and a Fiskars pole pruner for a backyard with crazy narrow access. Went with the folding saw and climbed up on a ladder instead. Took longer but I could actually reach between the branches without breaking anything. Anyone else prefer the manual route over power tools in tight spots?

Manual always wins in tight spots

My '88 F-150 in a crowded parking lot proved that yesterday.

Wait you actually climbed a ladder with a folding saw to do tree pruning? That sounds terrifying honestly, I would be way too scared of losing my balance while trying to cut overhead. I get that the pole pruner wouldn't fit in tight spots but I'd rather spend the extra time figuring out a safer way to reach those branches without a ladder involved.
