Hit 1000 hours on the frame rack this year
It snuck up on me when I was doing the books last night. That's a lot of bent metal straightened, and it made me realize how much of the job is just trusting the process and the numbers. Anyone else track their hours on specific equipment?

Trusting the process and the numbers" is so true. I started logging my hours on the alignment machine last year, and just seeing the total really showed me where I was getting faster.

What's wild is how the numbers can also show you where you're just spinning your wheels. I logged my time and saw a plateau that had nothing to do with speed, just bad habits I had to unlearn. The data doesn't just track progress, it points out the dead ends.

Totally feel that. I tracked my reading speed for a month and the numbers flatlined. Turns out I kept rereading the same paragraph over and over without realizing it. The log showed me the exact pointless loop I was stuck in.
