DAE remember the moment you found out you were washing your car wrong for years?
My neighbor in Fresno watched me wash my car with dish soap last month and just said "you know that strips your wax, right?" I switched to a proper car soap and the difference in beading after 3 weeks was night and day, so what was the thing that finally made you change your routine?

Did a detailer buddy point out that the dawn dish soap was also wrecking my clear coat? I figured soap is soap until he showed me the dull spots.
