Swapped from a 3/8 impact to a 1/2 for lug nuts on my F-150 and it made a huge difference

I used to think the 3/8 was fine for everything, but after snapping two sockets last month on a rusty Ford in Newark, I bought a 1/2 and now those same nuts come off without a fight - anyone else stick with a smaller gun too long?

Half inch made all the difference on my old Tacoma too.

Read somewhere that the half-inch impact can deliver almost double the torque of a 3/8, which explains a lot. Maybe it's just me but that extra bit of oomph makes rusty bolts way less stressful.
