Wait, did you mean under ten minutes for the whole sequence or just for the first email to hit their inbox? Because trimming a whole onboarding sequence to under ten minutes sounds almost too fast to be useful.

Yeah I actually just listened to a podcast about this exact thing. The guy hosting it talked about how some companies are doing "zero second" onboarding where the first email fires the second they hit sign up. But he said trimming the whole sequence under ten minutes makes most sequences feel spammy and rushed. He gave an example of a travel app that did it and their click rates dropped big because people felt pressured. So I think you're right to question it. Is there a specific part of the sequence you think gets hurt most when you speed it up that much?

Hmm, I don't know if it's that serious honestly... people overthink these sequences way too much. But hey @charles640, if you're cramming ten minutes of content into a single email that's a whole different problem than just sending one too fast.
