My old manager insisted we track everything in a shared spreadsheet for 3 years straight.

We finally switched to a proper integration platform last quarter because the manual syncs were killing our deal velocity. Anyone else finally ditch a manual process that was just holding you back?

Saw a stat that manual data entry eats up 15% of a work week.

That spreadsheet mindset is everywhere. My dentist still uses a paper ledger for appointments, which means they call to confirm every single one. The time and mistakes from not using basic tools add up fast.

Read an article last week about how much time small businesses waste on avoidable admin work. It made me think of your dentist example, @jamie_webb67. That paper ledger system probably costs them hours every week in phone calls alone. It's frustrating because simple, cheap software could fix that overnight. The resistance to change ends up hurting both the business and their customers.
