Took 8 hours to fix a data sync issue that was just a missing comma
Spent an entire Friday chasing a CRM integration bug between Salesforce and our billing tool. Turned out a single comma was missing in the JSON payload. Has anyone else burned a whole day on something that simple?

Five hours actually, not a whole day. I worked on a similar thing where a client's entire inventory system kept failing on Tuesday afternoons. Everyone was freaking out thinking it was some deep server issue. Turned out a junior dev put a comma in a date string instead of a slash. Took us a week of meeting notes to figure that out. Sometimes I think we just like making these things sound bigger than they are.

Tuesday afternoon glitches are always the trickiest because everyone assumes it's a server timing thing. I remember working with a nonprofit's database that would crash every single Wednesday morning, and we spent two solid months chasing network issues. It was a misspelled field name in a migration script the whole time. Those little character mistakes are humbling.
