inUpdate: My $3 bag of dried chickpeas just saved my whole food budget
So you do a big batch of brown lentils for soup bases, that's smart. What's your go-to soup after that? Like a basic veggie soup or something heartier with sausage? I always end up making the same lentil and carrot thing.

inFinally got that stubborn 6.7 Powerstroke oil cooler to seal after three tries
Had the same fight with mine last year. Ended up using that copper spray gasket stuff on both sides of the cooler gasket, that finally did the trick.

inPro tip: I used to think you could ask anything online and get a real answer
But you're missing how much time gets wasted with text back and forth. A quick screen recording shows the whole context, the error popping up, and what you clicked. People can SEE the problem instead of trying to picture it from your description. For coding, watching the flow can spot logic errors a static code snippet totally misses.

inJust realized my old gas mower was costing me over $200 a year in fuel and maintenance compared to my neighbor's electric one
That spaceship cord story is a good warning. I'd be more worried about tripping over it or accidentally running it over with the mower than the electric bill.

inPSA: I just paid $200 for a 'deepfake detection' tool that totally failed me
Yeah, that Wired article @bettym11 mentioned really laid it out. These services are basically just looking for old signs of fakes, like weird blurring. If someone uses a new app or cleans it up a little, the detectors have no clue. You're paying for a guess that's often wrong.
