Pro tip: My neighbor's weekly pizza night got me to stop using a pizza stone.

Turns out, a preheated cast iron pan makes a much better crust, from what I've seen.

Forgot how much easier cleanup is with a well-seasoned pan.

Noticed this with a lot of kitchen tools. The right one, kept up well, just saves you so much time. Makes the whole job less annoying.

Yeah, I used to skip seasoning my pans thinking it didn't matter. After forcing myself to do it for a month, I finally saw the point. Everything sticks less and cleans up faster, just like you said. Now I'm kinda obsessed with keeping my tools in shape. What's one tool you learned to maintain the hard way?

My chef's knife taught me that lesson. I got lazy about sharpening it for way too long. Chopping anything became a dangerous chore, just smashing tomatoes instead of slicing them. Finally got a cheap stone and learned the basics. Now a few passes every couple weeks keeps it gliding through food like it's nothing.
