Threw $80 down the drain on those fancy compression socks off Instagram

Saw this ad for some brand called Vim & Vigor socks claiming they'd fix my tired legs after shifts. Paid $80 for a 3-pack and they felt no different than the $12 ones at the drugstore. After 2 weeks the elastic started going loose around the ankles. Anyone else get burned by those overhyped medical accessory ads?

Honestly, I used to think those Instagram ads were just people being dramatic about overpriced stuff. But after trying a pair myself and having the same loose elastic problem, I totally get the frustration now. It's wild how they can market basic socks as some kind of medical breakthrough.

Oh man, I feel your pain lol. I fell for a similar ad promising "sock technology" and ended up with glorified tube socks that lost their stretch before I even finished laundry day. At least now we know those Instagram socks are just fancy looking regular socks with a price tag to match.

Buddy of mine bought into a "scrub resistant" shirt ad from some random site. Wore it twice to a BBQ and the whole front was stained like he wrestled a ketchup bottle. Had to laugh because the return policy was basically "sorry, you used it.
