Paid $150 for a pellet smoker attachment that claimed it added 'real wood flavor' but it just made everything taste like burnt plastic after 2 uses

Had to toss a whole brisket and a rack of ribs before I figured out the auger was melting some cheap gasket inside, anyone else get burned by one of those add-on smoker boxes?

Four briskets and a marriage later, I finally learned the auger was the one melting everything.

Used to swear by those things. That burnt plastic ruined it all though.
