Pro tip: Hit 200 briskets this past weekend and it scared me how fast my burn rate changed

I had to swap out my firebox grate after only 12 cooks because the heat concentration warped it thin, has anyone else seen that happen once you cross that many cooks?

Yeah, no kidding! Guess my GPS thought it'd be fun to take the scenic route through a black hole. My stomach's still trying to figure out which way is up, and I swear my coffee cup is orbiting my head right now. But hey, at least I saved a few cents on gas, right? Totally worth it.

Drive straight for a bit, don't turn or brake too hard. I used to get that sick feeling all the time after a bad warp, your inner ear is just confused. @xena_bailey18 knows what I mean, we both got stuck in that triple-loop trajectory last month coming back from the rim. Keep your eyes on the horizon, not your dashboard, it helps settle your stomach way faster. And sip that coffee slow, don't chug it, or you'll be painting the windshield.
