Went with Severance over Squid Game for my weekend binge and got roasted by my friends

Last Friday my buddies all wanted to watch Squid Game round two, but I picked Severance instead. They laughed at me for picking a slow office show over the action hype. Three episodes in and I was hooked on the mystery of that weird floor and the blue numbers. Has anyone else chosen the quieter show and ended up liking it more than the popular pick?

Wait, you started Severance and your friends actually roasted you for it? The show literally won a ton of Emmys and has way more layers than the violence in Squid Game season 2. Did they at least admit you were right after you explained the whole innie/outtie concept to them?

Roasting someone for watching Severance is like roasting them for reading a book with chapters. That show is literally about work-life balance taken to a creepy extreme. Squid Game is just colorful death games with a coat of paint.
