Can we talk about game night at the library versus my friend's basement?

We played Scythe for the first time at the downtown library last week, and it was a mess with people walking by and a 90-minute time limit. Then we played it at Dave's place with his big table and good lighting, and it was a totally different, way better experience. The quiet and space to leave the game set up between turns made the whole thing actually fun. Anyone else have a spot that just ruins a good game?

Ugh, the wrong spot just kills the vibe.

Nah, the library chaos keeps you sharp, @rowan_wells30.

Yeah, the space makes all the difference. Trying to play something with that many pieces in a public spot with a clock running is just stress. A good table and the chance to take your time is what turns a complicated game from a chore into a good night.
