Our argument about a novel's minor villain got way too heated
Who knew a fictional scoundrel could divide a room?

Man, that's when you know a book club has gone off the rails. Next you'll be throwing punches over whether the imaginary sandwich the hero ate in chapter three needed more mayo. It's amazing how we can all agree the villain is fictional, but still get ready to flip a table over their backstory. I guess it proves the writer did a good job, but maybe take a breath and remember none of it is real.
