Physical book vs e-reader for book club, the difference was huge
Our group read The Name of the Wind for last month's pick, and half of us used tablets while the rest had paperbacks. The online comments were all over the place, but in person at the library meeting on Tuesday, the paper copy folks caught way more detail, like the framing story and the little clues in the early chapters. I think it's because we could flip back fast without losing our place, and nobody was distracted by notifications popping up. The e-reader people kept saying 'wait, who is that again' while the paper people were already arguing about the prologue. Has anyone else had this split in their club, or do you think it was just this specific book that favored the physical format?

Honestly sounds like yall are overthinking this. One book with a weird structure doesnt prove anything about paper vs screens. Maybe those e-reader folks just didnt vibe with the book lol.
