I always thought my fiddle leaf fig needed way more sun than it actually did.
Honestly, I kept moving it closer to my south-facing window in Phoenix, and the leaves kept getting brown crispy spots. My friend Lisa, who runs a greenhouse, came over and said, 'Tbh, you're basically cooking it. That Arizona sun is too direct.' She told me to move it about 8 feet back from the window. It's been two months and it's finally pushing out new, healthy leaves without any burn. Has anyone else had to totally rethink their light setup for a specific plant?

Ha, that's a classic desert rookie move.

Man, my buddy once drank his entire water ration by 10 AM.

Honestly, drew_jones31, maybe your buddy was just super hydrated. Better than being the guy who passes out from not drinking enough.
