Pro tip: don't take meal planning advice from your neighbor who eats out every night
My neighbor Karen told me buying frozen veggies is a waste because fresh is always cheaper. So I spent last Sunday prepping fresh broccoli and green beans for the week. By Wednesday they were limp and slimy and I threw half of it out. I lost about $8 in produce that spoiled. Who else has been burned by bad advice from people who clearly don't live on a budget?

Can't believe she actually told you fresh is cheaper. Frozen veggies are a lifesaver for anyone on a budget who doesn't have time to cook every single day. How do these people not know basic grocery math?

Easy there @emmam89, is it really that big of a deal? Some people just don't think about the freezer aisle because they've got time to shop every couple days. I grab frozen peas and broccoli myself, they're fine and they keep. But if someone wants to buy fresh, it ain't worth getting worked up over.
