Why does nobody mention the price difference on pre-cut veggies?
I grabbed a bag of pre-cut broccoli florets last Tuesday at the Kroger on Elm Street and it rang up at $4.29 for maybe two cups. The whole head sitting right next to it was $1.10 and took me under two minutes to chop. I get that convenience matters for busy nights, but I see folks grabbing those bags week after week without doing the math. Is there some trick to making pre-cut worth it, or are we all just paying the lazy tax without realizing it?
