Switched from a weekly grocery run to a bi-weekly one and saved $80 last month
I used to go to the store every Friday and always ended up grabbing extra snacks and drinks. Now I plan two bigger trips a month and stick to a strict list, which cut my impulse buys way down. Anyone else find that fewer trips help them spend less?

Going less often was a game changer for me too... it forces you to actually plan meals. I started making a list on my fridge and adding stuff as we run out, so nothing gets forgotten. The real trick is eating what you already have before you go back... those last few days of getting creative with pantry items save a ton. Sticking to the list gets easier when you know you can't just pop out tomorrow.

I always thought more trips saved money, but your post proves the opposite.

Yeah, that "more trips" idea tricked me for years until my car broke down for a week.
