My kid's school art show made me rethink my whole weekly spread

I was at the elementary school gym last Thursday for my son's art show, and all the projects were just taped to the wall with no real order. It hit me that my own weekly log looked the same, just a messy list of tasks. I came home and drew a big circle in the middle of the page, splitting it into 7 pie slices for each day. Now I put my 3 main tasks for the day right in the slice, and it's way easier to see my whole week at once. Has anyone else tried a circular layout instead of the normal boxes?

Honestly I always thought circular layouts were just for vision boards or something artsy. But your pie slice idea makes a lot of sense. I used to have my days in a straight column and Friday's tasks felt miles away from Monday. Putting them in a circle, all connected, might show how the week actually flows. I'm going to try sketching it out for my chores and errands.

Wait until @gavin228 puts his pizza budget in the circle too.

I started using a circle layout for my weekly meal prep. Each slice was a day and I put the dinner idea in the middle. Seeing it all at once stopped me from ordering pizza on Wednesday because I already knew Thursday's leftovers were planned. It made the whole week feel less like a grind and more like a connected loop.
