Compared cutting off my brother vs keeping him around and the difference was night and day
My brother borrowed $400 from me last year for his "business" and never paid a cent back. I kept letting him come to family dinners and he'd make jokes about me being cheap. Cut him off completely 6 months ago after he tried to get me to co-sign a loan. My stress level dropped like crazy and I actually sleep better now. Anyone else have a relative who got way worse after you set one simple boundary?

Man I used to be all about "family is everything" no matter what, but reading this totally changed my mind. Sometimes cutting someone off is the healthiest thing you can do for yourself.
